London, UK and Santa Clara, CA—March 9, 2015—Nexenta (@Nexenta), the global leader in Open-Source driven Software-Defined Storage (OpenSDS), today announced that it will be exhibiting at Cloud Expo Europe on March 11-12 2015, at the London Excel Center. At booth #700, Nexenta will be showcasing its award winning enterprise storage software solutions,  NexentaStor™, NexentaConnect™ for VMware Virtual SAN, and NexentaEdge.

The cloud enables businesses to mobilize and connect their workforces in a host of innovative ways. Optimizing Cloud relies on a Software-Defined Data Center foundation, with Software-Defined Storage solutions. Nexenta’s SDS solutions leverage open source collaboration and Software-Defined Storage innovation (OpenSDS) to support multi-petabyte cloud deployments, as organizations globally build Software-Defined Data Centers of the future.

With a combination of performance, reliability and a lower TCO, Nexenta’s SDS solutions are taking the cloud market by storm. At the Cloud Expo event in London, Nexenta will be demonstrating:

NexentaStor, Nexenta’s flagship solution, a scalable storage platform, which is already deployed in hundreds of cloud service providers around the world, provides the resilience required for cloud and enterprise applications. It offers increased flexibility and agility, simplifies management and dramatically reduces costs without compromising on availability, reliability or functionality.
NexentaConnect for VMware Virtual SAN is ideally suited for small to medium enterprises cloud platforms and offers high performance snapshots and clones, rack awareness for greater resiliency and expanded scalability. It also simplifies and streamlines the provisioning of file services offering twice the performance without paying for expensive external storage arrays.
NexentaEdge, the industry’s most efficient software-only scale out object, block and file solution in the market for OpenStack clouds and Big Data applications. Taking a holistic approach to cloud storage architecture, NexentaEdge integrates with Software -efined Networks (SDN) to deliver groundbreaking performance.  NexentaEdge will be available within the next 30 days.

Michael Letschin, Director of Product Marketing, Nexenta will be presenting at SNIA Europe’s Presentation. The presentation entitled, “Bringing Clarity to the Software-Defined World” will take place on Thursday, March 12 at 11.15-11.40 in the Software-Defined Data Center and Networks Theatre.

Nexenta will also be hosting a panel discussion focused on how the Software-Defined Data Center can reduce Capex and Opex whilst improving performance, security and reliability within a cloud. Michael Letschin will moderate the panel, featuring influential analysts as well as Nexenta customers and partners who already utilize Software-Defined Storage within their IT infrastructures.

“Cloud Expo Europe is the perfect platform for Nexenta, as a significant portion of our revenues come from cloud hosting providers,” Mark Jordan, GM, VP of EMEA states. “With our complete Software-Defined Storage portfolio, and recent updates to NexentaConnect for VMware VSAN and the launch of NexentaEdge, we’re excited to showcase what’s in store for Nexenta’s SDS portfolio in the coming year.  Our customers will be speaking about how the SDDC can reduce costs, while improving on performance, security and reliability.”
