Mumbai Metropolitan Region will have all the components of Smart city.

this can be aspected that we will be deliberated upon during the ‘Mumbai Next’ conference to be held on February 6. “We would be ideating on various aspects of how Mumbai can be further transformed.

There are three aspects to it – regenerating the existing city, having new growth centres and entertainment tourism,” said UPS Madan, metropolitan commissioner, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, noted industrialists, corporate honchos and Bollywood biggies would be a part of the conference.There will be a ‘War Room’ where the chief minister will monitor various infrastructure projects. If there are any issues, the chief minister will liaise and coordinate to remove roadblocks.
