After realigning all the Artificial Intelligence (AI) related product developments, initiatives and operations into a single unit last month, Intel is now focusing on boosting the adoption of AI in countries like India, China, Germany, Japan and others.
In fact, Intel as a part of its global AI strategy company hosted its first AI Day in Bangalore today. It aimed to bring together various key stakeholders including government, industry and academia to discuss and accelerate the AI ecosystem in India.
In terms of driving the AI revolution in India, Intel announced a developer community initiative – the AI Developer Education Program that aims to train and educate around 15,000 professionals including scientists, developers, analysts and engineers on key AI technologies namely Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
About the AI program, company said that it will have some 60 programs throughout the year, ranging from workshops to roadshows to roundtables involving user group and senior technology leaders. This initiative aims to empower the community by imparting and sharing knowledge on AI adoption which includes technical sessions around the use of ready-to-deploy platforms and tools needed for building solutions.
