SAN JOSE, Calif.Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Bright Computing, a leading provider of management solutions for clusters and clouds, today announced that Clement Lau joins the company as Director for the Asia Pacific region (APAC). Clement has more than 18 years of experience helping companies expand their operations in Asia, and has held senior leadership positions at Cray, Platform Computing, N-Visio, and meZZme among others.
Lau’s expertise in enterprise technologies and technical computing will serve the company well as it continues to expand its operations in the Asia Pacific region. He will lead Bright Computing’s efforts in business development, direct sales, and expanding its network of resellers and systems integrators.
Over the past several months, Bright Computing has expanded its product line, adding the ability to provision, manage and monitor Hadoop clusters and OpenStack private clouds to its High Performance Computing (HPC) solution. This creates opportunities in new, rapidly growing markets that the company plans to take advantage of in the region.
